Leather Leather Leather

When I hunted my wardrobe and flicking through this current months issue of i-D i realized that my wardrobe is in desperate need of Leather, a fabric I love, in Gothness and in Health and it didn't occur to me that I seemed to lack so many leather pieces. This calls for A/W leather shopping at thrift/vintage stores I think. Updates will follow of my purchases, If I haul during the summer months that is.

A leather trend I'm loving at the moment is leather harnesses. After seeing many of these gothic bondage pieces sprawled across the pages of my current issues of fashion magazines I realized that this will be my main look out purchase of A/W 11

Zac Posen AW 11

Nothing excites me more at Fashion Week than a Zac Posen collection, fantastically structured gowns and magnificent materials, but the highlight of this collection this year to me was the dark navy & black tones rounded eyeshadow looks from the catwalk. A look I will definitely wearing alot throughout the A/W period this year.

Jeremy Scott Eyewear.

The king of quirky eyewear is back and on sale with a new collection at Linda Farrow. There isn't much I can say about this other than WOW. Sitting perfectly well with the amount of crucifix jewellery that has hit the high street and indie photography at the moment why not get your hands on these absolutely fantastic Jeremy Scott crucifix glasses. http://www.lindafarrow.co.uk/catalog/details/168/by-designer/jeremy-scott/jeremy-scott-cross-c1/740

for more of the new quirky eyewear pieces log onto http://www.lindafarrow.co.uk/ and purchase away.

Pop Romance.

I waited with a great amount of nail biting to see what the quirky self acclaimed Queen of the Unicorns, Doe Deere would finally release a new collection. After having all 10 of her previous collections candy tone coloured lipsticks, and loving the pigmentation, consistency and most of all the fantastic range of outrageously bright colours. I could not wait for a new release. Finally it happened the Pop Romance collection has now been released and is ready for purchase @  http://www.limecrimemakeup.com/ for people in the U.S. Unfortunately the collection is yet to be released in the U.K however Lime Crimes candy couture collection is still available for purchase at http://www.spacenk.co.uk/

The Pop Romance contains 3 new Ice Cream tone lipsticks in mint green, a pastel peach and a daring yellow which much reminds me of OCC lip tar in traffic.

I'm fortunate enough to have my hands on all three lipsticks. people in the U.K can purchase from the LimeCrime home website however the price of these lipsticks is considerably more with U.S. postage + packaging, however I cannot stress enough how fantastically pigmented these products are or how amazingly creamy the consistency of these products is. However, the best thing about these products has to be the uber cute packaging these lipsticks come in.
All of the Limecrime lipsticks come in these fantastic pink packaging with the silver holographic logo and a holographic unicorn on the other side. These products have the be the most eye catching cute products to sit on your dressing table. To further my absolute hype for these products, none of these products are tested on animals and all products are suitable for Vegans.

Quite Cute.

How better to start the summer sun in the U.K than with a collection of candy couture make-up to match your best pastel pieces. Inspired by all that is quite sweet and candy pop this doll like collection will be the perfect complimentary co-ordination for any summer outfit. The collection consists of 5 different lipsticks, 1 in the permanent Mac line, Saint Germain which is always a smash selling product whenever promoted with collections and is constantly vlogged about by some of Youtube's best. There are four new lipsticks which are new and limited edition which are exclusive to the Quite Cute collection. I'm especially excited about the colours Candy-yumyum and Play Time, which are described by Mac as an intense Neon Pink and an Intense Violet, which go hand in hand with the current acid bright trends from the s/s catwalk couture shows. The collection also contains 4 new Lipglass', I'm most excited about Girl <3 Boy, which is described by Mac as a Blueish Pink tone Lipglass which would be paired perfectly with Play Time lipstick or Candy-yumyum lipstick to enhance the neo-bright lipstick colours. 3 new lip pencils are also being promoted with the collection as well as a new eyeshadow quad, 3 new mineralize limited edition blushes are also to be promoted with the collection. The most exciting part of this collection to me has to be the ice cream tone nail laquers to be brought with the collection, that I am yet to try and test.
This collection is a definiate stand out collection from Mac for me, updates of products and reviews are yet to follow.
